Placement Policies

Breeding

We only breed one or two litters a year and our puppies are raised in a family environment. We breed to the AKC breed standard focusing on good temperament, out-going personality and dogs that are easily trained. Our German Shepherd dogs and puppies are our much loved family members.

Contract - Written Health Guarantee

All our German Shepherd puppies are sold with a written contract. Each puppy sold to a non-breeding and/or non-show home is sold on a "companion" (pet) contract and the puppy must be spay or neutered. All puppies sold to non-show/non-breeding homes are sold on a limited AKC registration. A limited registered registers the puppy with AKC, but does not allow any offspring of that puppy to be registered with AKC.

Shipping

It is acceptable to ship an 8 Week old puppy to you. German shepherd puppies have a very dense fur at this age to protect them from the elements. However, if you know it will be very cold or hot at the airport where your pup arrives or changes planes it will be best to wait until the weather is acceptable. Shipping itself ranges from $200-$700 depending on the airline. Carrier $65-$100. Health Certificate $40-$55. All shipping cost are in addition to the cost of the puppy.
