Thank you for visiting the Conlee German Shepherds' web site and reviewing our privacy policy. Our privacy policy is clear: we do not collect personal information unless it is provided by the customer on the application for wait-list purposes or provided to us the someone email us such application is printed out and the information is purged from our computer.
Additionally, this site utilizes a site counter that lets us see our web site traffic (see item 2, below). We do not share this information with anyone else, it is strictly for our purposes in monitoring our web site.
We do NOT share our customer list with any third parties.
This site utilizes some third-party resources (i.e., Bravenet forms and Stat Counter) which may have a different Privacy Policy than our own. Therefore, if you are going to use our site and utilize forms, please be aware that those service providers may use your email for marketing purposes. - For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
- Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction.

C.O.P.P.A.
C.O.P.P.A. stands for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. It is applicable to all web sites maintained on a server in the United States. More importantly, it is applicable to this site. Basically, it states that we (the web site) cannot collect any personal information - name, address, telephone number, or email address - from any child under the age of 13.
As a parent we take children's privacy seriously. While Conlee German Shepherds does not cater to children under the age of 18 (as they cannot legally enter into a contract of sale), we understand that dogs and puppies are something children are interested in and our web site is one that children under the age of 13 may come across while surfing the web. In an effort to do our part to protect the privacy of children using the internet, as well as to be in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), it is Conlee German Shepherds' policy to refrain from the collection, use or disclosure of personal information from persons under the age of eighteen (18). While we do not correspond nor do business with people under the age of 18, we recognize that does not prevent an underage child from contacting us. We feel strongly that ultimately it is the responsibility of the parent(s) to monitor their child's web surfing. Further information on COPPA.
